Thursday 9th July Outing

Its a fine day, so we decided to play golf in the evening. We know that same evening Pak Lah is going to announce the plan for succession in UMNO and when he is going to pass the baton to Dato Seri Najib. If its another two years time, the baton will be berkarat already.

Anyway, we teed off at about 2-15 pm from the tenth tee box. Since Mahmud and Md Nor is sharing the same buggy and myself and Bujang in the other, we decided to have a small wager for an interbuggy competition, 60:20:20

On the first hole, we manage to square because Bujang and Mahmud got a bogey whilst me and Md Nor a double. On the par five twelfth, Bujang and I par whist Md Nor and Mahmud bogeyed. We went one up and so the story goes. At the end of the first nine, Bujang and me scored 43 gross each and Mahmud with Md Nor scored 46 gross each. We won 3 balls with five fringes.

Since the word in the club is me only playing one nine, so they decided to double up. Oh! Oh! Now the stakes are high because if anyone loses full house, the damage can be as high as RM200.

It was friendly the first two holes. They went one up at the third hole when Md Nor misses his birdie charge but managed to salvage a par. We salvage our position at the sixth hole when Bujang managed to get a par. We lost the par 3 and was one down until the final hole. Unfortunately they did not mange to square the last hole so we won one ball and square the fringes.

So we went to the Golfer's terrace where they had their Japanese food and I order a mee mamak with telor mata kerbau.
